Considering if your age is 17 years old, you would most probably had studied in both primary and secondary schools. You may be studying in Junior Colleges/Polytechnic or other institutions at this moment and have made some new friends from there.
How about your old friends? Have you forgotten about them?
Yes, today I will be giving some advice on how to maintain precious friendships forged during the past 10 years of your life.
13-16 years old; Your Secondary School friends.
To many, they are one of the most valued batch of friends.
Ways in which you can keep in touch with them.
Ask them out on a group date during the holidays
Contact them through several websites ( such as Facebook, MSN messenger etc)
Meet up for studying ( It will be great if you spend time with your friends doing something meaningful. Especially if both of you are studying the same course)
6-12 years old; Your Primary School friends. If you're still in contact with these friends ...
Ways in which you can keep in touch with them or otherwise, revive the friendship.
Look up the phone book and start calling precious friends that you've lost touch with.
Search your old friends in website (Friendster or even Myspace!)
Plan a date with your old friends and find out what they might like to do as they may have changed drastically since the last time you saw them
Or, organise a mini get together lunch where you and your friends can converse and catch up with each other.
There are still many ways to keep in touch but the key is to make the date simple and enjoyable. You may want to find out how much they have changed before revealing yourself too much and end up scaring them :D
